Ever wondered what all those different recycling symbols on modern packaging mean? Wonder no more!
Everybody these days (hopefully) knows to recycle their packaging and other stuff once it has come to the end of its life. Obviously, with packaging, it is much better to try to reduce or eliminate it altogether, but if you do need to get rid of some waste, you need to understand how and where to do this.
Modern materials – for packaging and products – should have symbols on them to explain how best to recycle them. In the UK there are a large number of specific symbols for specific waste management methods – some of which look remarkably similar to the untrained eye, sadly.
