On 20th April 2024, we were pleased to attend the Wymondham Baptist Church Silver Eco-Award Celebration event.
The event, which ran between 10am – 12noon at the Baptist Church on Queen Street, was well attended by the public and featured several other local groups alongside ourselves. There were craft activities for children, refreshments and plenty of opportunities to introduce ourselves to people.
We asked people to try out the “Waste Hierarchy” game, where the task is to sort the waste ‘disposal’ topics into the right sequence, which proved challenging and thought provoking.
We also started our “Name Our Mascot” poll (the cyclist which appears on our Transport page) which garnered some interesting results so far. This poll will run at all our public events throughout the summer, so check out our Events page if you would like to have a chance to vote.
Congratulations again to Wymondham Baptist Church for achieving their Silver status!
